Registered Dental Hygienist

Here at Paul A Palliser DDS PC we are proud to treat our patients like they are family! We are looking to hire an experienced Part-time Dental Hygienist to help us keep growing. Hours:
Tuesday 12:45pm - 5:00pm
Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm
Friday 7:30am - noon
Saturday 7:30am - noon (usually 2/month)
Additional hours may be available (Busier summer and holiday hours)
Responsibilities
  • Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, flouride and sealants, x-rays
  • Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
  • Customize care to meet patient's oral health
  • Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
  • Being a Team player is a must
Qualifications
  • Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in State of IL
  • Current CPR certification
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care
  • Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices
  • Use of Softdent software a plus
  • Use of Dexis CariVu a plus


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
