The Position ? Mix System Engineer
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the Mix System Engineer will design and develop the pharmaceutical process to manufacture and distribute aqueous solutions and the associated equipment and processes. Through monitoring the performance of the Mix system equipment, the engineer will identify and implement continuous improvements of the Mix Systems and its associated components and processes to maintain optimal efficiency, cost, and system availability for manufacturing. This role is key in developing a CIP process that is both effective and efficient.
The Mix System Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
+ Developing process piping, valving and tankage to support the manufacturing processes. performance.
+ Maintaining and improving system design and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
+ Developing and executing equipment and process validations related to Mix System components and processes.
+ Conducting quality investigations and troubleshoot complex issues based on expertise.
+ Identifying areas of improvement and serve as the project manager in seeing these changes through.
+ Directly training or participating in the training of technical personnel.
+ Cooperatively working with other department representatives, lead persons, engineers, and any others to improve shift effectiveness, increase productivity, reduce costs and maintain regulatory compliance. Participating in pre-qualifications and factory acceptance tests of new equipment and machinery.
+ Communicating shift/project reports and statuses to Department Head.
+ Providing engineering support to mixing department as when needed.
+ Continuously advancing skills with new training, technologies, and processes.
+ Identifying, suggesting, recommending improvements, and implementing modifications to increase productivity and reduce costs.
+ Notify Primary Components Manager and Engineering Manager of any unusual problems.
Position Requirements
+ Bachelor?s Degree is required. Preferably in an Engineering discipline such as Chemical or Mechanical (other disciplines will be considered based on relevant work experience and training).
+ Pharmaceutical piping, valving, mixing and cleaning and sanitizing process knowledge is beneficial
+ Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or process piping environment.
+ Additional skills that are necessary to be successful include:
+ Proven experience making product quality decision.
+ Working knowledge of engineering drawings, electrical schematics, engineering flow diagrams, algebra, geometry, and statistics.
+ Strong technical writing skills and experience.
+ Proficiency with computerized record keeping systems including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Maintenance monitoring systems, Laboratory information systems, quality management systems, manufacturing execution systems.
+ Working knowledge of validation processes
+ Experience working in a Regulated environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
