Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment - Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit - Pull wire through conduit and terminate connections - Install and connect electrical panels, switches, outlets, and fixtures - Test electrical systems using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety - Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and make necessary repairs or replacements - Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites Requirements:
- Previous experience as a commercial or industrial electrician is preferred - Knowledge of blueprint reading and ability to interpret electrical drawings - Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to electrical installations (NEC) - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools commonly used in electrical work - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team - Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, climbing, or standing for extended periods of time Note:
This is an apprenticeship position.
Training will be provided on the job.
