Job DescriptionThe Cost Accountant is responsible for preparing financial records, such as cost analyzes and monthly budget reports.
This role will track spending, changes in inventory costs, and accuracy of compliance and cost records.
Responsibilities:
(May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
Collects and analyzes data on operational costs.
Sets standard costs of manufactured goods.
Develops and analyzes cost standards.
Carries out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis.
Establishes costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
Performs account reconciliations.
Prepares audit reports and presents their findings to management.
Recommends changes to the company's processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit.
Supports accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting3
years of experience in Cost AccountingAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of other MS Office toolsStrong attention to detail, ability to work well within a teamStrong ability to manage work and prioritize timelines and meet deadlinesAbility to adapt to a change in directionRequire minimal supervision About the Company:
