Cary, IL Cary, IL Full-time Full-time $21 - $23 an hour $21 - $23 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago True Value Manufacturing has an immediate opportunity for a Customer Support Representative at our Cary, IL Paint facility.
The Customer Support Representative is responsible for providing traditional customer support needed by our membership with respect to product, programs, and consumer events for all manufactured and distributed paint items offered by True Value company.
Through a focused in-bound call center, this position will engage in handling service calls, resolving technical issues and telephone inquiries of customers to support members, vendors, consumers, and third-party business.
Scheduled Days:
Must be flexible to work an 8hour shift Monday through Friday from 7:
30am to 5pm and one Saturday a month from 9am to 2pm.
Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
1.
Responds to member calls regarding price, delivery, technical assistance and coordinating shipments of orders in a timely and professional manner.
Research and recommend products for specific substrates as requested by members and consumers.
Able to effectively handle sensitive or emotional customer contact situations with a positive and helpful attitude.

Works with Member Service Representatives and Paint Consultants to support new programs, True Value national and local events and training initiatives.
3.
Responsible for the accurate entry, updating and correction of orders into TTOE and 4th Shift order entry systems.
Releases orders to shipping to ensure prompt, timely deliveries to members and third-party business.
Trace's shipments and expedites through proper channels.

Responsible for the maintenance of reference material including TVM product catalogs, pricing, and current programs to answer members and Paint Consultants questions adequately and promptly.
5.
Responsible for incidental reports and correspondence and other duties as assigned Education & Experience High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years of experience, preferably in Communications, Customer Service, Manufacturing.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of paint and chemicals is preferred.

High energy in-bound call center requiring ability to manage multiple time sensitive situations This position is typically working in the climate-controlled areas of the general offices, however, the position, on occasion, may be required to visit areas where air conditioning is not available and may be exposed to chemicals that are routinely present in the company's factory and warehouse.
